Top 10 questions about CBD

Since CBD products are becoming more and more popular, that comes even more questions from our consumers. At Ideal Plus, we are always happy when customers ask lots of questions, especially when it comes to CBD benefits and our products. There are absolutely no wrong questions to ask when it comes to purchasing any products that might improve your health. Here are the top 10 common questions we get daily from our customers.

Top 10 questions about CBD

1. Is CBD Legal?

Yes, CBD and hemp products are considered federally legal in all 50 states. Any person 18 years old and older in the United States can legally buy CBD products at the store shelves, some pet stores, and the internet.

2. What exactly is CBD? What does it mean?

CBD stands for cannabidiol. Cannabidiol is the second most common and active ingredient of cannabis (marijuana). While CBD is an essential component of medical marijuana, it is derived directly from the hemp plant, a cousin of the marijuana plant.

3. Does CBD go bad?

At Ideal Plus, we recommend using our drops products within two years of the manufacture date ( the date the product was made). Our product won't "go bad," but it may lose its CBD potency over time. Another step is to keep our drops upright in a cool, dry place to ensure their longevity.

4. What is the key difference between Marijuana and Hemp?

Even tho both Hemp and Marijuana are from the same plant species called cannabis, and they are two very different plants. They both differ in genetics, cultivation, and chemical process. Hemp is cultivated for many things, including CBD extracts, fabric, food, etc. Marijuana is cultivated for mostly its high levels of THC. Hemp has low levels of THC, mostly

0.3% or less and has no intoxicating properties, where marijuana can contain levels that exceed 20% or more.

5. What if I'm drug tested?

Our Ideal Plus CBD products contain only CBD isolate or distillate, which has 0.3% or less of THC (from industrial hemp). During the drug test, you are required by law to test at under 0.3% for THC.

Drug tests in the United States don't screen for CBD. CBD does not cause intoxicating effects and is not an illegal controlled substance. The standard urine drug screen for THC-COOH is known to have minimal cross-reactivity to other cannabinoids that are not psychoactive, such as CBD. Even if you test positive for THC-COOH screening results, after only using CBD products, you should be followed up with secondary confirmation testing for THC. The Food and Drug Administration FDA and the United States Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) state that products that contain more than 0.3% THC are illegal.

6. Are the Ideal Plus products gluten-free?

At Ideal Plus, none of our products contain gluten but are made in a facility that is not gluten-free.

7. Will I get high from Ideal+ CBD products?

Our CBD products are made from 100% organic, indoor hemp, which is non-psychoactive and will not impair the user or get him or her high. Our hemp-derived CBD products contain less than 0.3% THC.

8. What is the difference between isolate, broad & full-spectrum products?

CBD isolate 99% pure CBD, broad-spectrum contains CBD and other cannabinoids without the THC, and full-spectrum is full-plant extract with all cannabinoids found in that plant.

9. How do I know what I'm getting?

This is probably the most crucial question that I answer. You must always protect yourself, ask questions, and ask to see lab reports.

At Ideal Plus, our hemp is tested regularly throughout the growing season and harvest, and then during the extraction process, to ensure the highest quality and provide the world's best organic hemp-based products on the market. Always ask for lab results. Any company that produces quality products will have lab results to back up their products. In these reports, you can find things such as CBD %, THC %, residual solvent content, heavy metals, etc. You are taking CBD for your body's health. Make sure it has nothing in it that will harm you, and don't decide on CBD because it's cheap.

10. Can anyone use CBD?

Although CBD products are mostly safe to use for health benefits, we always recommend consulting your doctor before trying a new CBD product, especially if you are pregnant, taking medications, or breastfeeding. While CBD shouldn't have too much of an effect on any medications you might be taking, you never know how it might react. Call your personal doctor to see if they have any concerns regarding CBD.
